Ms. Kohgadai is a first-generation Afghan-American attorney. She is the oldest of six children and the first in her family to go to college and higher education. After graduating law school, Sara worked in prominent Bay Area law firms before starting her practice as a sole practitioner. She is passionate about freedom of information and immigration law.
After college and before law school, Sara lived in Madrid for two years, teaching English and traveling. She enjoys creative expression through writing, art, and music.

Laily S. Hakimzada
Administrative Assistant
Ms. Hakimzada is a graduate of San Francisco State University where she studied Biology. After being the first in her family to graduate college, she began working as an in-home aid. At that time she also volunteered at the local food bank and started an online book club for local readers. Now, as an administrative assistant, the firm relies on Laily’s skills and flexibility to make sure the office runs smoothly.
In her free time, Ms. Hakimzada likes to run and enjoys crafting. She is currently learning sign language and guitar.
